A Registry entry which allows you to access Windows security updates.

Those of you who have installed Windows XP (with Service Pack 2) should know you can access the Microsoft website to download the new updates and security enhancements when they come out. Normally you have to go the website to locate the one you want, but it will now be easier thanks to Quick KB.

Quick KB is an entry to add to your Windows Registry that lets you access, from the same browser address bar of Internet Explorer, the KB article you're looking for. So the process is much quicker and more direct.

For Quick KB to be effective, you must restart your PC once it has been added to the Registry.
